Senior UX Designer

DaySmart Software

I was promoted into this role to focus 100% on product design, zeroing in on user interaction and untangling complex workflows across an enterprise SaaS platform. Instead of handing off wireframes and hoping for the best, I brought developers into the design process early to work through edge cases together. I relied on customer research and real usage patterns to help the team prioritize meaningful fixes over pet features, including overhauling our mobile experience so users could run their daily tasks on the go rather than being tied to a desk.

UX Developer

DaySmart Software

I split my time right down the middle, spending about 50% of my time in front-end development building out reusable HTML and CSS components, and the other half creating a responsive design system and componenet library. A big part of my role was partnering with backend developers to modernize an older PHP platform into Angular without breaking everyday workflows for existing customers, ensuring our UI patterns stayed clean, practical, and consistent across both disciplines.

Lead Web Designer

Pacific Software Publishing, Inc.

I led design across custom client websites and software tools, working side-by-side with developers and international stakeholders to deliver bilingual products (English and Japanese). Beyond shipping projects, I spent a lot of time helping our junior designers grow, running weekly design critiques and practical coding workshops to raise our baseline craft across the studio.
